About

Full Fibre Checker was created by two people who got frustrated trying to answer a simple question: what broadband is actually available at a specific address?

Why We Built Full Fibre Checker

The UK broadband landscape has changed dramatically over the last few years. Alongside the traditional providers, dozens of new full fibre networks are expanding across the country.

That’s great for competition, but it also makes it harder for people to understand their options. Availability can vary even between neighbouring streets, and some of the best connections are offered by regional fibre networks that many people have never heard of.

Our tool was built to make that information easier to access.

What We Do

What We Do

Full Fibre Checker helps users quickly understand which broadband services are available at their address.

The platform allows you to:

  • Check broadband availability using your postcode or address
  • See full fibre, part-fibre, and cable broadband networks serving your location
  • View typical speeds available at your property
  • Identify both national providers and regional full fibre networks
  • Understand the connection types available in your area

Whether you are moving home, switching providers, or simply checking if full fibre has reached your street, the checker provides clear answers in seconds.

Our Mission

Our mission is to make broadband availability easier to understand and more accessible.

Finding reliable internet shouldn’t require visiting dozens of provider websites or trying to interpret complex coverage maps. The goal is to provide a simple tool that shows which networks serve a postcode, the connection types available, and the speeds people can realistically expect.

We also believe that many households pay more than they need to for internet access. By helping people see the full range of providers and connection options available at their address, we aim to make it easier to discover faster or more affordable alternatives.

Our Vision

Our vision is a more transparent broadband market where people can clearly see which networks operate in their area and what options are available to them.

As full fibre infrastructure continues expanding across the UK, more homes will gain access to faster connections and new providers. By combining network coverage data with simple tools, the aim is to help people understand those changes and make informed decisions about their internet service.

Over time, better visibility into broadband availability can also help more households access reliable internet without paying more than necessary.

Tomas Novosad
Tomas Novosad | Founder

Tomas Novosad is the founder of Full Fibre Checker and leads the platform’s overall strategy, research, and product development.

Before launching Full Fibre Checker, Tomas built similar broadband availability platforms in North America, including projects focused on the US and Canadian markets. Through that work, he repeatedly encountered the same issue: it was often surprisingly difficult to determine which broadband providers actually served a specific address.

Coverage information was fragmented across provider websites, infrastructure operators, and postcode checkers, with each source showing only part of the picture. Full Fibre Checker was created to consolidate that information and make broadband availability easier to understand.

Today, Tomas focuses on the platform’s data sources, research, and product direction, ensuring the tool remains accurate, independent, and easy to use.

Tharindu Fernando | Co-Founder & Lead Developer

Tharindu Fernando is the co-founder and lead developer behind Full Fibre Checker and the architect of the postcode-based lookup system that powers the platform.

He specialises in building scalable web applications that integrate multiple data sources, APIs, and network coverage datasets. His work focuses on turning complex broadband infrastructure data into fast, address-level availability results.

Tharindu designed the technical infrastructure that allows Full Fibre Checker to combine coverage data from national broadband providers, wholesale networks, and regional fibre operators into a single lookup tool.

He oversees the platform’s architecture, performance optimisation, and ongoing development as fibre networks continue expanding across the UK.
